Jennibear23 caught it Log entry: I caught this little guy at the Blue Star Travel Bug Hotel and Cache GCKC79 near Leasburg Missouri back on Sept 27, 2009. I thought I lost this little guy and was so sad. Found the little fishy in the bottom of my geopack today while cleaning it out and am so happy I can finally log it! I read the log for fish 9311 and didn't see anything about how it got to GCKC79 in the first place. The map shows it being in CA. Currently it is in Belleville IL. |

Fishemup discovered it Log entry: I am new to this sport, but my Son has been doing it for a couple of years. I live near this hiding spot and have observed people walking around looking under rocks. After seeing a couple of different groups in the same area doing the same thing, I finally figured out what was going on! So when no one was looking I went out and found the hidden treasure. I don't deserve to keep this beautiful geofish eventhough I am a fisherman. So I will release it back in its home for someone else to find. Good Luck! Remember the neighbors are watching! Now I guess I'll have to take the GPS off my boat and join in the fun. |
